Château Feytit-Clinet 2022 is a red Pomerol from Bordeaux's right bank, carrying the depth and concentration associated with this vintage. It is the grand vin of a small family estate, run by the Chasseuil family since 2000. The vineyard sits on the western side of the Pomerol plateau, with gravel and clay soils and parcels including Clinet, Latour and Feytit.The wine is strongly Merlot-led, with Cabernet Franc completing the blend. Fermentation in concrete vats, an extended maceration and 16 months in oak barrels, including a high proportion of new oak, shape a wine with structure and ageing capacity. The oak influence is described as integrated, adding cedar, toasted and smoky nuances around a deep core of dark fruit.
