Chateau Feytit Clinet 2021 is a red Pomerol and the estate's grand vin. The blend is firmly Merlot-led, with 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, sourced from around 6 hectares of vineyard on gravel and gravel over clay.The 2021 vintage shows a more restrained and structured side of Feytit Clinet rather than a very opulent expression. Available tasting notes point to a medium to medium-full-bodied Pomerol, with lively acidity, present ripe tannins and an aromatic range that moves from dark fruit into violet, herbal, graphite and roasted notes.
Fermentation in concrete vats and 16 months of ageing in oak barrels, 70% of them new, give the wine its frame and a clear oak influence in youth. If opened now, decanting is a sensible approach, especially when serving it at around 1618 °C alongside beef, lamb, game, duck, roasted meats, mushrooms, truffle or mature cheeses.

Château Feytit-Clinet is a small-scale wine estate located in the prestigious Bordeaux region of France, more specifically within the Pomerol appellation on the right bank.
