Château Gloria 2021 Magnum is a red Bordeaux from Saint-Julien on the Left Bank. In a 1.5-litre magnum, it immediately feels more deliberate: a bottle for the table, for sharing, or for laying down with a little patience. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we like this kind of format because it adds a sense of occasion without changing the essence of the wine itself.The 2021 vintage is led by cabernet sauvignon, supported by merlot, petit verdot and cabernet franc. That gives it a clear Left Bank identity, though this year is more about freshness, precision and structure than sheer concentration. The growing season was cooler and wetter than in warmer Bordeaux vintages, with improved conditions in September and October. The result is a Saint-Julien with a classical line, ripe but present tannins and a lively core.
Château Gloria has its own place within Saint-Julien. The estate was assembled later from different vineyard parcels and therefore was not part of the 1855 classification, yet it is firmly rooted in the appellation today. The 2021 spent around fourteen months in barriques, with a proportion of new oak, and it was the estate's first vintage in organic conversion with biodynamic practices.

Château Gloria is a winery from the renowned Bordeaux region in France, more specifically located in the appellation of Saint-Julien in the Médoc. This estate is relatively young compared to many other established names in the region, as it was founded in the 1940s by Henri Martin, a well-known figure in the world of Bordeaux wines.
