Château Poujeaux 2021 is the grand vin of the estate, from Moulis-en-Médoc on Bordeaux's Left Bank. Its composition is firmly rooted in Médoc tradition, led by cabernet sauvignon, supported by merlot and finished with a small proportion of petit verdot.The 2021 vintage demanded careful work. A wet, mild winter, a cool spring, frost in exposed plots and disease pressure made the growing season technically challenging. Poujeaux's answer is a wine built around freshness, fine tannins and a more classical Bordeaux frame, rather than sheer weight.
