Tempo D'Angelus 2022 is a red Bordeaux from Château Angelus, the Saint-Émilion estate of the de Boüard de Laforest family. It is not a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, but a younger label within the Angelus range, introduced in 2019 and made from estate-owned vineyards around Castillon-la-Bataille, Saint-Magne-de-Castillon, Sainte-Colombe and Francs.The 2022 vintage is led by Merlot, with Cabernet Franc completing the blend. Its vineyards are described as cool, deep clay-limestone sites with south-facing slopes, a background that fits the wine's reported style: red and dark fruit, freshness, fine tannins and a subtle touch of oak rather than an overly weighty expression.
