Product info about Chateau Duhart-milon 2020
Château Duhart-Milon 2020 is a dry red Pauillac with a clear Left Bank signature: Cabernet Sauvignon leads the blend, supported by Merlot, giving the wine its dark, structured Bordeaux character. This is the grand vin of Château Duhart-Milon, a 4ème Grand Cru Classé from the 1855 classification and part of Domaines Barons de Rothschild Lafite.The estate's vineyard lies to the west of Château Lafite Rothschild, on the Milon slope and adjoining the Carruades de Lafite plateau. Fine gravel, aeolian sand and a limestone subsoil form the setting for a wine built around freshness, depth and graphite-like definition. The 2020 was vinified in the traditional Bordeaux manner, with careful sorting, separate vinification by origin, gentle pump-overs and around twenty days of maceration. Ageing took place in French oak barrels, half of them new.

Château Duhart-Milon is a renowned winery from the Bordeaux region in France, more specifically situated in the prestigious Pauillac appellation. The estate is part of the famous 1855 classification and at that time received the status of Quatrième Grand Cru Classé, a distinction awarded only to a select number of châteaux in the Médoc.
