Chateau Beausejour Duffau-Lagarrosse 2020 in magnum is a serious Saint-Emilion from Bordeaux's Right Bank, presented here in the generous 1.5 litre format. For this vintage the wine was designated Premier Grand Cru Classé B within Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, giving the bottle a clear sense of place and standing before it is even opened.The blend is led by Merlot with Cabernet Franc in support. Its fruit comes from the estate's vineyards on the slopes and limestone plateau of Saint-Emilion, with clay-limestone soils playing an important role in the wine's identity.
