Symphonie de Haut-Peyraguey 2019 is a sweet white Sauternes from Bordeaux, produced by Clos Haut-Peyraguey. It is the second wine of an estate classified as Premier Grand Cru Classé in the 1855 Sauternes classification, giving this half bottle a strong sense of place: classic sweet Bordeaux, but in a 2019 expression described for its freshness, purity and elegance.The blend is 95% sémillon and 5% sauvignon blanc, sourced from plots in Barsac and Sauternes. The vines average around 35 years of age and grow on gravelly and sandy soils with a clay subsoil. Fermentation takes place in barriques, using new barrels and barrels of one previous use, adding detail while keeping the wine's bright Sauternes character in focus.

Clos Haut Peyraguey is a wine estate from the Sauternes region in France, specifically located in Bommes, in the heart of the renowned Bordeaux area. The estate belongs to the classified Premier Cru Classé of 1855 and is known for its sweet white wines, made from traditional grape varietals such as Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscadelle. The vineyards are situated on a fertile ridge close to the Ciron river, a location that, due to its unique microclimate, creates ideal conditions for the noble rot Botrytis cinerea, essential for the production of Sauternes wine. Since 2012, Clos Haut Peyraguey has been owned by Bernard Magrez, an influential figure in the French wine world, who is committed to further refining quality and continuity.
