Product info about Vinedo Chadwick 2015
Viñedo Chadwick 2015 is a dry red wine from Puente Alto in Chile's Alto Maipo, at the foot of the Andes near Santiago. It is made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon, grown on a defined vineyard estate of around 15 hectares on the northern bank of the Maipo River.The 2015 vintage was warm and dry, producing healthy grapes with small, concentrated berries. As temperatures rose, the team began harvesting early and worked parcel by parcel from 21 March. That decision helps explain the character described by the producer: ripe, intense and deep, yet still marked by freshness and elegance.
Everything about the production points to careful selection and control. The grapes were hand-picked in small 15 kg boxes, sorted on double sorting tables, fermented in small stainless steel tanks and then aged for 22 months in French oak, with a portion also matured in Stockinger foudres. The result is a Cabernet Sauvignon with structure and polish rather than simple weight.

Vinedo Chadwick is a Chilean wine brand that originates from the world-famous wine region of Maipo Valley, near the capital city Santiago. The label is part of the renowned winery Errázuriz, which belongs to the Chadwick family, an important name in Chilean winemaking. The Vinedo Chadwick vineyard was established on the former polo field of Don Alfonso Chadwick, who is also regarded as the founder of the vineyard. Since 1999, mainly Cabernet Sauvignon has been produced here on a relatively small scale, with close supervision of the vinification process and the selection of grapes. The vineyard's location near the Andes allows for slow ripening of the grapes, resulting in elegant, powerful wines with great depth. Annual harvests are often limited, which has given Vinedo Chadwick an international reputation as an exclusive wine with consistently high quality.
