Château Lilian Ladouys 2019 is a red Bordeaux from Saint-Estèphe in the Médoc and represents the château's grand vin. For this vintage it is listed as Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel, a fitting context for a wine made with careful vineyard selection and measured cellar work.Merlot plays the leading role in the blend, supported by Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. Château Lilian Ladouys is a French winery from Bordeaux, located in the appellation of Saint-Estèphe in the wine region of Médoc. The history of the estate dates back to the 16th century, although it only received its current name in the 20th century. The chateau and vineyards are situated on gravel and clay soils, typical for the region and favorable for the production of characteristic red wines. The main grape varieties used are Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The pursuit of quality at Lilian Ladouys goes hand in hand with investments in modern winemaking techniques and meticulous viticulture, which has led to a solid reputation within Saint-Estèphe. In 2008, the estate was acquired by the Lorenzetti family, who have since implemented further improvements in both the vineyards and cellars.
