Les Fiefs de Lagrange 2019 is the second wine of Château Lagrange in Saint-Julien, a Bordeaux estate with a clear Médoc identity. Created in 1983 to allow a stricter selection for the grand vin, Les Fiefs still comes from the château's Saint-Julien vineyards and carries the same sense of origin, though in a more approachable form.

The 2019 blend is led by Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with a small proportion of Petit Verdot. The grapes come from Château Lagrange's gravel ridges, with clay and limestone beneath the surface. The vintage itself was marked by contrast: a cool, wet spring followed by a hot, dry and sunny summer. After plot-by-plot vinification, the wine spent 13 months in barriques, 20% of them new.
