Flavour notes
The aroma is rich, with ripe fruit, warm spices and subtle floral notes. There is an aromatic depth to it, supported by a gentle herbal impression. On the palate it begins on a sweet note, with hints of red fruit, before gaining complexity through tannic bitterness and spiced root-like flavours. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a lightly drying bitter touch and lingering spice.

Product info about Bordiga Rosso + Tube
Bordiga Rosso + Tube is an Italian Vermouth di Torino Rosso with a distinctly wine-led personality. It is made from a base of white Cortese, with Nebbiolo wine from Piedmont added before the blend is shaped by infusions of herbs and roots. That combination gives it more than simple sweetness: there is structure, aromatic depth and a firm red vermouth character. What makes it especially engaging is the way it develops. It opens with a sweeter note, then gradually moves towards a more persistent bitterness with a lightly tannic, spiced edge. That makes it a flexible vermouth, enjoyable in a straightforward serve with ice or in a cocktail where the vermouth should remain clearly present.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Bordiga Rosso sits well among vermouths with a real sense of origin and composition. The Piedmontese wine element, the herbal infusions and the tube presentation all add to its appeal. With an alcohol strength of 18% and only the last bottles remaining, it is a particularly worthwhile rosso to discover while it is still available.
