Flavour notes

The aroma brings together ripe fruit, warm spices and subtle floral notes. On the palate it begins sweetly, with hints of red fruit, before gaining complexity through spiced roots and a tannic bitter edge.

The finish is long and persistent, lightly drying, with bitter and spicy tones that continue to linger.

Product info about Bordiga Rosso Bio

Bordiga Rosso Bio is an Italian red vermouth with a distinctly wine-led character. It starts from white Cortese, then Nebbiolo wine from Piemonte is added before the blend is brought together with infusions of herbs and roots. That gives this Vermouth di Torino Rosso a firm, vinous backbone rather than a purely sweet profile.

The appeal lies in the way it develops. It opens with sweetness, then moves towards red fruit, spiced root notes and a lightly tannic bitterness that stays on the palate. There is aromatic complexity here, but it remains versatile and easy to place in different drinking moments.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of rosso vermouth we like to highlight for customers looking for wine depth, herbal definition and a more persistent bitter edge.
