Product info about Amaras Reserva Especial Sierrudo
Amaras Reserva Especial Sierrudo is a mezcal from Tlacolula in Oaxaca, made from the native Sierrudo agave. This agave is known for its lateral spines, which resemble the teeth of a saw, and it brings a distinctive aromatic richness with a clearly mineral edge.Sierrudo is described as softer in nature, yet more difficult to cultivate. That contrast gives this mezcal much of its interest: it feels carefully chosen rather than simply powerful. Distilled in copper stills and bottled at 46%, it has the strength to carry its concentration while keeping its more refined vegetal and mineral side in focus.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this bottle stands out for mezcal drinkers who enjoy exploring agave varieties with a strong sense of origin. It is not just about intensity; the appeal lies in its freshness, precision and the particular complexity of Sierrudo.
With only the last bottles remaining, this Reserva Especial Sierrudo is a fine opportunity to discover this specific expression while it is still available.
