About AUGIER
Maison Augier was founded in 1643 by Philippe Augier. The Augier family were powerful merchants who joined forces with other great local families (Brunet, Lallemand and Martell) and together exported to England and Flanders, then to Germany and the colonies. As early as 1745, Augier crossed the Atlantic Ocean to the United States. Augier supplied Cognac to the Paris liberation committee at the end of the Second World War. Recently they experienced a new revival, with the launch of a new range of unique products (VS, VSOP, XO), in honor of their atypical terroirs: L'Océanique, Le Sauvage and Le Singulier.
