Product info about Frapin Cigar Blend 1er Cru
Frapin Cigar Blend 1er Cru is a French cognac with a name that immediately sets a certain scene. It suggests a glass poured after dinner, time taken rather than rushed, and a style presented with a clear sense of occasion. The Cigar Blend wording gives this cognac its particular angle. It places the bottle in the world of slower, more reflective drinking moments, where cognac can sit alongside the ritual of a cigar without needing to shout for attention.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Frapin we would introduce to someone looking beyond a general cognac choice: French, bottled at 40%, and carrying the 1er Cru name as part of its identity.
No detailed tasting notes are provided for Frapin Cigar Blend 1er Cru, so it would not be right to invent aromas, palate impressions or a finish.

About FRAPIN
Frapin is a cognac house from the French region of Grande Champagne, the area that is regarded as the beating heart of the Cognac region. The Frapin family has been established in this region since the 13th century and initially made a name for themselves as winegrowers before fully dedicating themselves to cognac. All Frapin cognacs are made from grapes sourced exclusively from their own estate, allowing the brand to call itself a so-called single estate cognac. The family owns approximately 240 hectares of vineyards around the village of Segonzac. Through this long-standing, direct control over the entire production process, Frapin has managed to develop a consistent signature, featuring elegant, fruity, and floral cognac styles, typical of the chalky soil in Grande Champagne. The cognacs from the house are often aged longer than legally required, which contributes to the refined smoothness and complex flavor development for which Frapin is appreciated. The assortment includes expressions from young VSOP to more exclusive vintage cuvees. The long history and focus on quality have given Frapin a solid reputation among enthusiasts worldwide, without the house excessively focusing on large-scale production.
