About CALUDE THORIN
Calude Thorin is a cognac brand originating from France, known for bottles that are mainly found in the range of classic cognacs. Production takes place in the Cognac region, an area that is recognized worldwide for its strict rules regarding the origin and quality of cognac. While there is little in-depth background information about the Calude Thorin brand itself publicly available, this name is primarily seen on blends within the traditional French cognac style. There are indications that the brand is linked to a larger producer working according to the established French legislation regarding Cognac AOC, which means that the distillation, aging, and bottling are carried out with respect for local traditions and regulations. Calude Thorin usually offers different ages of cognac, which often refer to the minimum years of aging in oak barrels. This means that VS (Very Special) has been aged for at least two years, VSOP (Very Superior Old Pale) at least four years, and XO (Extra Old) six years or older. Although unique flavor characteristics of Calude Thorin are not widely described in independent sources, with this type of cognac you can generally expect an accessible style with soft fruity and lightly spicy notes, as is often the case with cognacs from this region.
