Flavour notes
The aroma is creamy, with notes of leather and tobacco-like perfume. What stands out is the elegance and depth, especially for a cognac of such age.On the palate it shows remarkable length, carried by spicy tones and a complex aromatic core. The finish is fine and noble, with a clear expression of Charentais rancio.

Product info about Daniel Bouju Res Familiale
Daniel Bouju Res Familiale is an 80-year-old cognac, and that age gives the bottle its quiet sense of importance. This is the kind of cognac where time is not just a number on the label; it shapes the depth, the length and the more mature aromatic register. The character described here is creamy and refined, with leather, tobacco, spice and a fine Charentais rancio. Those notes place it firmly in the world of contemplative, long-aged cognac, where elegance matters as much as intensity.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the sort of bottle we would present to someone who wants to taste a cognac with real maturity and patience behind it. It asks for a calm glass and a little attention.
The aroma is creamy, with notes of leather and tobacco-like perfume. What stands out is the elegance and depth, especially for a cognac of such age.
