Frapin is a French cognac producer with an impressively long history that dates back to the 13th century. The family business is located in the Grande Champagne, the most renowned cru area within the Cognac region, where the chalk-rich soil contributes to the delicate structure of their distillates. For generations, Frapin has pursued the production of cognac based solely on grapes from their own vineyards, which cover more than 200 hectares around the village of Segonzac. The Frapin family manages the entire process; from viticulture to distillation and aging in their own cellars. The assortment ranges from young Cognacs to long-aged expressions, with much attention paid to the selection of oak barrels. Authentic craftsmanship and a consistent house style soft, floral, and fruity characterize the approach.
