About OUD BEERSEL
Oud Beersel is a Belgian beer brand that is especially known for its traditional lambic beers, such as geuze and kriek. The brewery, located in Beersel in the area south of Brussels, has roots going back to 1882. This makes it one of the old, classic lambic breweries of the Pajottenland. Lambic is brewed in a unique way: it is a type of beer that ferments spontaneously, which means that wild yeasts from the air set off the fermentation process.
