Château Suduiraut 2013 is the Grand Vin of Suduiraut, a sweet white wine from Sauternes in Bordeaux. It carries the Premier Cru Classé de Sauternes status from the 1855 classification and comes from the estate in Preignac, where the influence of the Ciron and Garonne can encourage the development of noble rot.
The 2013 vintage is a good reminder of how different Sauternes can be from the rest of Bordeaux. While the year was difficult for red wines, conditions were more favourable here for botrytis. The grapes were picked in selective passes, choosing only fruit or parts of bunches with the right concentration. The wine is based mainly on Sémillon with Sauvignon Blanc, followed by around 20 months in French oak barrels.

Château Suduiraut 2019 Demi is the half-bottle format of the Grand Vin of Château Suduiraut, a Premier Cru Classé Sauternes. The 37.5 cl bottle does not indicate a separate cuvée; it is the same sweet white Bordeaux in a smaller, very practical format.
The 2019 vintage is made from 94% sémillon and 6% sauvignon blanc. Suduiraut selects fruit from the estate's most prestigious terroirs in Preignac, where gravelly, sandy-clay soils support ripening and concentration. For the Grand Vin, the finest bunches affected by noble rot are picked through successive passes in the vineyard.

The 2020 growing season was far from straightforward, with wet conditions early on, summer heat, and later periods that allowed botrytis to develop on selected parcels. That background helps explain the wine's combination of richness, sweetness and freshness. A final yield of 8.5 hectolitres per hectare points to a very concentrated selection.

Château Suduiraut 2020 Magnum is a Sauternes with real presence: the estate's Grand Vin, bottled in 1.5 litres, from one of Bordeaux's great sweet wine appellations. Suduiraut is a Premier Cru Classé from the 1855 classification for Sauternes and Barsac, and the 2020 vintage was made entirely from Sémillon grown on the estate's finest terroirs in Preignac.
The year demanded patience and careful selection. After a very wet autumn and winter, early vine growth, warm summer conditions and cool nights, harvest ran from 16 September to 5 November in four selective passes through the vineyard. Only the lots with the desired concentration and noble rot were chosen for the Grand Vin, with a very low final yield of 8.5 hl/ha.
