Château Siran 2022 Demi is the grand vin of Château Siran from Margaux, presented here in a 37.5 cl half-bottle. It is not a separate cuvée, but the same Bordeaux wine in a smaller format, useful when you want to enjoy a serious Margaux without opening a full bottle.The 2022 vintage in Bordeaux was hot and dry, giving low yields and concentrated fruit at Château Siran. The blend is 53% merlot, 36% cabernet sauvignon and 11% petit verdot. After hand harvesting and careful sorting, the wine was vinified by parcel in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats and aged for 12 months in French oak barriques, 35% of them new.
Château Siran is based in Labarde, in the southern part of Margaux, and is run by Édouard Miailhe, the sixth generation of the same family since 1859. The vineyard is farmed sustainably without chemical herbicides. The 2022 release also carries a special label with artwork by Damian Elwes, created as a tribute to Queen Elizabeth II.

About CH SIRAN
Château Siran is a historic wine estate from the Bordeaux region, located in the Margaux appellation, south of the city of Bordeaux in France. The estate has a long history dating back to the 17th century and has been owned for generations by the same family, the Miailhe family. Château Siran is known for its classic Bordeaux wines, which are mainly made from a blend of traditional grape varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. The vineyards are spread over a terroir with a mixture of gravel and sand, which influences the character and elegance of the wines. This estate is one of the few non-classified crus from Margaux that enjoy much recognition among enthusiasts due to their consistent quality and distinctive style.
