Chateau Nenin 2022 is the Grand Vin of the Pomerol estate on Bordeaux's Right Bank. It should not be confused with Fugue de Nenin, the second wine: this is the château's main red, a dry Pomerol made from 64% Merlot and 36% Cabernet Franc, with 14% alcohol.The interest of this vintage lies in the way ripeness is held together by freshness and structure. The fruit comes from selected plots on the Pomerol plateau, where clay, gravel and varied soil formations shape the character of the wine. Merlot brings ripe fruit and a rounded texture; Cabernet Franc, present here in a notable proportion, adds definition, floral lift, graphite-like nuance and ageing backbone.

Château Nenin is a winery from the Pomerol appellation, located on the right bank of Bordeaux in France. The estate belongs to the classic producers of this region, where mainly red wines are made with a dominant share of merlot, supplemented by cabernet franc and sometimes a small amount of cabernet sauvignon. Château Nenin has a history that dates back to the nineteenth century, with a distinctive feature being that it has long been owned by families closely connected to the region. Since 1997, the estate has been owned by the Delon family, who are also known for Château Leoville Las Cases in Saint-Julien. The vineyards of Château Nenin are situated on clay and gravel soils, conditions considered particularly suitable for the typical Pomerol grapes. The winery is known for an elegant style with a refined structure and ageing potential. In addition to the grand vin, this house also produces a second wine under the name Fugue de Nenin. In the international wine world, Château Nenin is regularly appreciated for its consistently high quality, though it does not belong to the most famous names of Pomerol such as Pëtrus or Le Pin.
