Château de Chantegrive Cuvée Caroline 2022 in magnum is a white Graves with a distinctly gastronomic ambition. This dry white Bordeaux from France is made from sémillon, sauvignon blanc and a small proportion of sauvignon gris. Cuvée Caroline was created at the estate in 1988 as its oak-aged white cuvée, with fermentation and nine months of ageing on fine lees in French barriques, supported by regular bâtonnage.The result is a style built around texture, freshness and a clear sense of place. The lees ageing and barrel work give the wine more breadth, while citrus freshness and a mineral impression keep it lively. In the 1.5 litre magnum format, the 2022 vintage has a natural table presence, especially alongside seafood, shellfish or a carefully prepared meal.
Château de Chantegrive is a family estate in Graves, developed from the 1960s by Henri Lévêque and now extending to around 100 hectares.
