Fugue de Nenin 2022 is the second wine of Château Nenin in Pomerol, Bordeaux. It was created as a more approachable expression of the estate, with a rounder and earlier-drinking style than the Grand Vin while still carrying the Pomerol identity clearly.The 2022 blend is 90% merlot and 10% cabernet franc. Its fruit comes partly from clay-sandy terroirs and young vines on the Pomerol plateau, parcels associated here with a softer, more open style. The vintage was warm and dry, yet the available notes repeatedly point to freshness, juicy fruit and refined tannins rather than heaviness.

About CH NENIN
Château Nenin is a winery from the Pomerol appellation, located on the right bank of Bordeaux in France. The estate belongs to the classic producers of this region, where mainly red wines are made with a dominant share of merlot, supplemented by cabernet franc and sometimes a small amount of cabernet sauvignon. Château Nenin has a history that dates back to the nineteenth century, with a distinctive feature being that it has long been owned by families closely connected to the region. Since 1997, the estate has been owned by the Delon family, who are also known for Château Leoville Las Cases in Saint-Julien. The vineyards of Château Nenin are situated on clay and gravel soils, conditions considered particularly suitable for the typical Pomerol grapes. The winery is known for an elegant style with a refined structure and ageing potential. In addition to the grand vin, this house also produces a second wine under the name Fugue de Nenin. In the international wine world, Château Nenin is regularly appreciated for its consistently high quality, though it does not belong to the most famous names of Pomerol such as Pëtrus or Le Pin.
