Chateau Doisy Daene Grand Vin Sec Bordeaux 2022 is a dry white Bordeaux with a distinctive background. The estate is best known for Barsac and Sauternes, yet this Grand Vin Sec presents its sauvignon blanc in a dry, aromatic and structured style under the Bordeaux Blanc AOC appellation.The grapes come from Doisy Daene's sauvignon parcels in Barsac, where clay-rich sands lie over a limestone subsoil. That setting is part of the wine's identity, and the cellar work supports it: fermentation in barriques, around one fifth renewed each year, followed by eight months on the lees with regular bâtonnage.

Château Doisy-Daïne is a classic winery from the Bordeaux region in France, with a special focus on both dry and sweet white wines from the Barsac and Bordeaux appellations. The winery is part of the prestigious Sauternes area, which is world-renowned for its noble sweet wines, especially due to the influence of noble rot (botrytis cinerea). The history of Château Doisy-Daïne dates back to the beginning of the 19th century, but since 1924 the estate has been owned by the Dubourdieu family, who have played an important role in the development and reputation of the wines from this region. Under the leadership of several generations, including the renowned oenologist Denis Dubourdieu, the estate has further refined its characteristic style; this is reflected in elegant, fresh and aromatic wines, mostly made from Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle.
