Chateau Doisy Daene 2022 Barsac Magnum is a sweet white Bordeaux from Barsac, within the broader Sauternes/Barsac tradition. In magnum format, it immediately feels like a bottle with a sense of occasion: made for a generous table, a memorable moment, or a cellar where time can do its work.The estate is a Deuxième Cru Classé from the 1855 classification. For the 2022 vintage, the blend is led by sémillon, with a small proportion of sauvignon blanc. The fruit comes from the Barsac plateau, where red clayey sands lie over limestone, a setting the estate links to the freshness and finesse of its white wines.
Its depth comes from painstaking selection. The grapes are picked by hand in several passes, focusing on fruit concentrated by noble rot. Slow pressing is followed by fermentation in oak barriques, then ageing that combines oak and stainless steel before bottling.

Château Doisy Daëne is a French winery located in the Barsac appellation in the Bordeaux region. The estate is mainly known for its sweet white wines, produced primarily from Sémillon grapes, complemented by Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle. Since the beginning of the 20th century, the château has been owned by the Dubourdieu family, who have built a strong reputation in both traditional and modern winemaking. The vineyards of Château Doisy Daëne benefit from the unique microclimate of Barsac, which offers ideal conditions for noble rot (Botrytis cinerea) and thus contributes to the character of the sweet dessert wines. In addition to the classic Barsac, the estate also produces dry white Bordeaux wines, which is relatively unusual for this appellation. The wines of Château Doisy Daëne are known for their freshness, aromatic complexity and structure, qualities that are appreciated internationally. The combination of experience, terroir and craftsmanship makes the château one of the cornerstones of the region.
