Château Les Cruzelles 2022 is a red Lalande-de-Pomerol from Bordeaux's Right Bank, offered here in a 1.5-litre magnum. The estate has belonged to the Durantou family since 2000, and the 2022 vintage is made from 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. That gives the wine a clear Right Bank identity: ripe Merlot depth supported by the structure and freshness of Cabernet Franc.This was a concentrated vintage, with a relatively small yield and limited production. The wine was vinified in tank and aged in French oak barrels, around half of them new. The oak influence shows through in cedar, spice, smoke and chocolate notes, while the wine remains primarily driven by ripe, fresh fruit.

Château Les Cruzelles is a wine estate from the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation in the Bordeaux region of France. The winery is managed by Denis Durantou, also known from the prestigious Château L'Eglise Clinet in Pomerol. Les Cruzelles was acquired by Durantou in the early 2000s and has since, under his supervision, evolved into a respected name within the region. The vineyard covers approximately 10 hectares, planted mainly with Merlot and a smaller proportion of Cabernet Franc, typical grape varieties for this area. The wines of Château Les Cruzelles are known for their elegant style, in which ripe dark fruit and a soft structure are combined with subtle oak notes, thanks in part to careful ageing in oak barrels. Only limited quantities are produced each year, making the wines popular choices for both enthusiasts and collectors.
