Château Les Cruzelles 2021 is a red wine from Lalande-de-Pomerol on Bordeaux's Right Bank, shaped by merlot and cabernet franc. The 2021 blend is 65% merlot and 35% cabernet franc, with that relatively high share of cabernet franc giving the wine a notably fresh and aromatic edge.The estate belongs to the Durantou family and is connected with the family behind Château L'Église-Clinet in Pomerol. Its vineyards are planted on clay and gravel soils close to Pomerol, and the wine was matured in French oak barriques, half of them new. In this vintage, Les Cruzelles is less about sheer flesh and weight than about tension, structure and aromatic clarity.

Château Les Cruzelles is a wine estate from the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation in the Bordeaux region of France. The winery is managed by Denis Durantou, also known from the prestigious Château L'Eglise Clinet in Pomerol. Les Cruzelles was acquired by Durantou in the early 2000s and has since, under his supervision, evolved into a respected name within the region. The vineyard covers approximately 10 hectares, planted mainly with Merlot and a smaller proportion of Cabernet Franc, typical grape varieties for this area. The wines of Château Les Cruzelles are known for their elegant style, in which ripe dark fruit and a soft structure are combined with subtle oak notes, thanks in part to careful ageing in oak barrels. Only limited quantities are produced each year, making the wines popular choices for both enthusiasts and collectors.
