At this young stage the nose is still rather discreet, yet deep, with raspberry and cinnamon followed by darker notes of black cherry, cassis and blackberry.On the palate it starts straight and direct, then gradually gains intensity. Red fruit, subtle vanilla, graphite, cedar, tobacco, leather, liquorice and spice give it a recognisably classical Pauillac feel. The body is medium to medium-full, supported by fresh acidity and fine to supple tannins.
The finish is more precise than opulent, with red fruit and a gentle touch of vanilla. When opened young, decanting can help the wine reveal itself more fully.

Product info about Chateau Duhart-milon 2021
Chateau Duhart-Milon 2021 is a red Pauillac from the grand vin of Château Duhart-Milon, a 4th Grand Cru Classé from the 1855 classification and part of Domaines Barons de Rothschild Lafite. It is very much a Left Bank Bordeaux, shaped by its origin and by the cooler, less sunny 2021 vintage.The blend is led decisively by cabernet sauvignon: 81%, with 19% merlot. For Duhart-Milon, that merlot share is historically low, and it gives this vintage a firm cabernet identity. The drier gravel soils were especially favourable in 2021, bringing the wine towards precision, freshness and structure rather than broad opulence.
Vinification follows a traditional Bordeaux route, with careful sorting, parcel-by-parcel fermentation in cement or stainless-steel vats, gentle pump-overs and around twenty days of maceration. The wine then matures in French oak barriques, 50% of them new, after individual barrel selection for the grand vin.

Château Duhart-Milon is a renowned winery from the Bordeaux region in France, more specifically situated in the prestigious Pauillac appellation.
