Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise Premice 2022 from La Grange Aux Sources is a red Burgundy from France, produced within the Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise appellation. For red wines here, Pinot Noir is the defining grape, so this cuvée is best understood through its origin, vintage and domaine approach rather than through a long list of technical claims.La Grange Aux Sources is a young estate in Mercurey, founded in 2021 by Julien Bordet and Marion Bureaux. Julien Bordet acquired his first parcel in Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise in 2018, and the domaine later expanded with vineyards including sites in Mercurey and Bouzeron. Premice 2022 therefore belongs to a relatively new Burgundy project with a parcel-focused way of working.
The domaine highlights hand harvesting in small crates, sorting at the estate and vinification adapted to each vintage and each vat. Extraction and oak choices are also adjusted according to terroir and year. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this wine as more than simply a red Burgundy: it is a way to discover a young domaine and a clearly defined corner of the Côte Chalonnaise.
