As a Cinquième Grand Cru Classé from the 1855 classification, it sits firmly in the tradition of structured Médoc wines, but the 2020 vintage gives it its own particular tension between ripe fruit, freshness and grip.The blend is 55% cabernet sauvignon and 45% merlot. Grapes were harvested entirely by hand in small crates, followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats and 18 months of maturation in French oak barriques.
