Château de Fieuzal Blanc 2020 Demi is the dry white grand vin of Château de Fieuzal from Pessac-Léognan in Bordeaux. Demi refers to the 37.5 cl half-bottle format, not to a separate cuvée. It is a very useful size when you want to open a serious white Bordeaux without committing to a full bottle.The 2020 blend is led by sauvignon blanc, given as 75%, with 25% sémillon. That explains much of the wine's personality: freshness and drive from the sauvignon blanc, with the sémillon bringing extra texture and breadth. The wine comes from the estate in Léognan, within the gravel-rich setting of Pessac-Léognan.
The growing season was early, shaped by a mild winter, a warm and humid spring and a dry summer. For this white 2020, the available information notes vinification without added sulphur, followed by 12 months in French oak barrels. The oak is not presented as the main flavour; it supports the wine through texture, subtle spice and quiet depth.

Château de Fieuzal is a well-known wine producer located in the appellation of Pessac-Léognan, one of the prestigious wine regions in the Bordeaux region of France. The wine estate has a long history, with roots going back to the 16th century, and is named after the Fieuzal family, who owned the estate for several centuries. The vineyards cover about 39 hectares for red grape varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, while for white wine about 10 hectares are planted with Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc. Château de Fieuzal is known for both its red and its white wines, with the blends being typical for the region and often aged for a long time in oak barrels. The estate has been part of the Graves Grands Crus Classés classification since 1959.
