Château Beaumont 2020 Magnum is a red Haut-Médoc from Bordeaux, produced by a Cru Bourgeois Supérieur estate in Cussac-Fort-Médoc. Its vineyards lie on the Left Bank of the Gironde, between Margaux and Saint-Julien, on deep, well-draining gravel soils that suit the structured Médoc style.The 2020 blend brings together cabernet sauvignon, merlot and petit verdot. Cabernet sauvignon gives the wine its framework, merlot adds roundness, while petit verdot contributes colour and spice. Ageing in French oak barriques is present but deliberately restrained, supporting the fruit rather than covering it.
In magnum, this Château Beaumont has a particularly attractive table presence. The larger format also tends to develop more slowly than a standard bottle, making it a thoughtful choice for a shared dinner or for patient Bordeaux drinking.
