Product info about Chateau D'esclans Rose 2021
Château d'Esclans Rosé 2021 is a dry Provençal rosé with a clear estate-grown identity. The wine comes entirely from Château d'Esclans' own vineyards and is bottled at the estate. Grenache and Rolle form the main foundation, giving the wine its Provençal freshness while leaving room for texture and structure.A great deal of the character comes from the way the fruit is handled. The grapes are picked at night to avoid the heat of the day, then carefully sorted by hand and optical selection. Half of the juice is fermented and aged in stainless steel, the other half in 600-litre French oak demi-muids, with regular lees stirring. That combination keeps the wine bright, while adding a creamy, more layered feel.
