Tenuta di Nozzole Il Pareto 2008 is a Tuscan red with a very clear identity. Il Pareto is Tenuta di Nozzole's Cabernet Sauvignon cuvée, grown around Greve in Chianti and released as Toscana Rosso I.G.T. In style, it sits firmly in the Supertuscan tradition, bringing together Tuscan origin and the dark, structured character of Cabernet Sauvignon.The 2008 vintage is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and spent 16 months in French oak barrels. The fruit comes from Cabernet Sauvignon plantings on the historic Tenuta di Nozzole estate, with vineyards at around 330 to 370 metres altitude. The result is a dry, concentrated red wine built around ripe dark fruit, firm tannins and a full, serious structure.
