Product info about Mandrarossa Fiano 2024
Mandrarossa Fiano 2024 is an organic Sicilian white wine with a distinctly Mediterranean feel. Made from 100% Fiano and released as Fiano Terre Siciliane IGT Biologico, it comes from the Menfi area, where Mandrarossa gives this southern Italian grape variety a fresh, aromatic expression.The vineyards are situated around Menfi on south and south-east facing slopes, roughly 150 to 350 metres above sea level. The producer highlights the role of the sea breeze, and that idea runs through the wine's style: dry, fresh, herbal and saline, rather than oak-driven or creamy.
Winemaking is kept clean and focused. The grapes undergo a short cold maceration, followed by temperature-controlled fermentation, and the wine then matures for four months in stainless steel tanks. No oak ageing is mentioned, so the emphasis stays firmly on purity, freshness and place.
