Les Forts de Latour 2015 is a red Pauillac from Bordeaux with a very clear point of origin: Château Latour. It is the estate's second wine, made under this name since 1966, and its name comes from a historic plot within Latour's Enclos.Its appeal lies in how closely it is treated to the Grand Vin in spirit. Château Latour applies the same care in the vineyard and cellar, while the main differences are found in the parcel selection and the proportion of new oak used during maturation. The fruit comes from the edges of the Enclos, from parcels that may in some selections be considered for the Grand Vin, and from other cru-classé areas of Pauillac.
The 2015 vintage is led by Cabernet Sauvignon at 63%, supported by a substantial 35.6% Merlot, with small amounts of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Château Latour describes 2015 as an exceptional year, producing wines with richness, density, elegant structure, pronounced fruit and firm tannins.

Château Latour is one of the most famous names from the Bordeaux region in France and is especially known as a producer of prestigious red wine. The estate is located in the Pauillac appellation, on the left bank of the Gironde, where the terroir is internationally valued for its extremely suitable conditions for viticulture. Château Latour has a rich history that dates back to the 14th century, but was mainly recognized as a winery in its current form from the 17th century onwards. The estate is registered as Premier Grand Cru Classé according to the famous 1855 classification, and is therefore officially part of the highest category within Bordeaux. The vineyards of Château Latour are mainly planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. The wines of the estate are known for their power, concentration, and remarkable ageing potential, making them popular among connoisseurs for collecting. Today, Château Latour continues to distinguish itself with a carefully controlled production process where quality always comes first, something that has been passed down from generation to generation.
