Neus: Diep en rijk. De eerste neus onthult tonen van ylang-ylang, kruidnagel, artisjok, geroosterde walnoot, bloedsinaasappel, abrikozenpitten en brandewijnkersen. Bij het beluchten nestelen zich amandelen aan de oppervlakte van het aromatische gehemelte. Na verloop van tijd nemen schuurpapier, kamfer, sultana's, dadels en een fijne koffielikeur het gehemelte mee terug naar Andalusië.Smaak: Levendig en krachtig. Rietsuiker, kastanjehoning en de geur van tropische bloemen domineren het gehemelte. In het midden van het gehemelte omhullen vanillebonen en cacaobonen de smaakpapillen met hun subtiele tannines. De afdronk is kamferig en bedwelmend (geranium).
Afdronk: Lang en scherp. De afdronk is doordrenkt met smaken van rietsuiker en wordt verfrist door tonen van kokosmelk en kamperfoelie, evenals hints van vernis en mosterdzaad. De afdronk onthult tonen van lichte tabak, lindebloesem, peperige roos en koriander. Geuren van walnoten, sultana's en gedroogd stro markeren het lege glas en nemen ons mee terug naar Zuid-Spanje."

About HAMPDEN ESTATE
De geschiedenis van Hampden Estate gaat terug tot 1753 wanneer daar de eerste sporen van een suikerrietplantage terug te vinden zijn. In 1779 wordt het statige Hampden Great House gebouwd, nog steeds het uithangbord van de distilleerderij. Na een lange en bewogen geschiedenis komt het landgoed in 2009 in het bezit van de familie Hussey, die zich tot doel stelt om de oude glorie en traditie te herstellen. Sinds 2018 zijn er terug officiële bottelingen van Hampden op de markt en meteen werden ze een ijkpunt in de rumwereld met hun uitgesproken stijl en smaak.

Will my product be properly packaged?
All our orders are packed with the utmost care in sturdy cardboard shipping boxes, and filled with environmentally friendly crumpled cardboard to prevent damage to the bottle and packaging. We try to avoid the use of bubble wrap and other plastic as much as possible.
However, certain boxes and tubes are extremely sensitive to any form of packaging, and a package also goes through a lot before it is delivered to your front door. We offer you the assurance of completely flawless packaging in our shop in Zolder.
Can I ask questions about the product specifications?
Our team strives to supplement photos and product specifications with the utmost care and to keep them up-to-date. Unfortunately, this is not always possible, especially for products with a high rotation, products with multiple versions/packaging and products that are released several times under the same name/denominator/barcode, each time with a different lot number or different bottling date. Because the basic product is the same in such cases, we do not make a distinction in our webshop and we deliver what is in stock at that time.
If you are looking for a very specific release of a product, e.g. to supplement your collection, it is best to contact our customer service in advance so that we can physically check this for you before you place your order . This way we prevent disappointment and unnecessary sending of bottles back and forth.
If the product you received does not match the product information that we communicated in advance, you can choose to return this bottle to us and obtain a return label from our customer service.
Why can I only enter a certain number?
In our webshop you can never order more than the quantity that we can immediately deliver from our stock at that time. For larger quantities, please contact our customer service. In addition, exceptionally popular releases can also be limited in number per customer account.
Can I pick up my online order in your shop?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to collect your online order from our shop. This is because the physical processing of online orders does not take place in our shop in Zolder.
