Combier Pineapple is a French pineapple liqueur from Distillerie Combier in Saumur, in the heart of the Loire Valley. The house was founded in 1834, and this bottling shows a clear focus on bright exotic fruit rather than a generic sweet liqueur style.It is made by macerating pineapple from Costa Rica and South Africa in old rum from Guatemala. That gives the liqueur its tropical direction, with a subtle touch of ginger adding a little aromatic lift. At 20% ABV, it remains approachable while still carrying a distinct fruit-driven personality.
