Nardini Acqua di Cedro is an Italian liqueur from Bassano del Grappa with a distinctive citrus origin. Its name comes from cedrat, also known as sukade: a large local citrus fruit with a thick peel and very little flesh. Only the outer peel is used, because that is where the essential oils are concentrated.That gives this liqueur its fresh, aromatic citrus character without making it feel like an ordinary lemon liqueur. At 29% alcohol, it has enough presence to stand on its own, yet it remains versatile: enjoyable neat, and equally useful when a cocktail needs a bright, sweet citrus accent.

About NARDINI
In 1779, Bortolo Nardini moved to Bassano del Grappa and learned everything about grappa. He invested in the Osteria del Ponte, now the Grapperia Nardini. That was the first time a distillery established itself in a permanent location - before that, it was customary for distillers to bring their equipment to the winemakers to distill on site. Thus, the first Italian grappa was born. Today, Nardini is still a family business with a very extensive range of different drinks. Grappa of course, but also bitters, amaro, liqueurs and Acqua di Cedro are made by them.
