Grandmont Menthe Glaciale is the fifth release in the Liqueurs de Grandmont collection. Distillerie de Grandmont works from a sense of history, recreating old-style alcoholic preparations in an artisanal way and giving renewed attention to forgotten spirits, craft and origin.The focus here is unmistakably mint, but not in a flat or one-dimensional way. Menthol, peppermint and lemon mint are brought together in a full, piercing and sharply fresh liqueur. There is a dense herbal quality beneath the freshness, giving the impression of mint with real depth rather than simple sweetness.
