Flavour notes
The tasting experience here is mainly about comparison. Pour the four Marolo Barolo grappas in small measures and taste them side by side, moving from 9 to 20 years to follow the progression between the different ages.As all four bottles are at 50% alcohol, this is a set to approach slowly rather than casually. Product info about Marolo Barolo 9y, 12y, 15y, 20y 4x20cl
Marolo Barolo 9y, 12y, 15y and 20y is an Italian grappa gift set built around comparison. Marolo brings together four 20 cl bottles, each with a different age statement, creating a small vertical tasting of Barolo grappa rather than a single standalone bottle. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of set we like for customers who enjoy tasting with a bit of focus. The 9, 12, 15 and 20 year expressions give the tasting a clear structure and invite you to explore the differences between the ages at your own pace.
Bottled at 50% alcohol, the set has a firm presence and is best approached in measured pours. Presented as a giftpack, it also makes a thoughtful choice for someone with an interest in Italian spirits and aged grappa.

About MAROLO
Marolo has been distilling with passion since 1977. Their products (grappa, amaro, etc.) are made with harvests from the best local vineyards in the Langhe, Monferrato, and Roero regions, recognized as world heritage sites by UNESCO. Here you find wines such as Barolo, Barbaresco, Barbera, and Moscato D'Asti. Marolo stands for the spirit of the land and loyalty to its origins. Distillation is done according to the bain-marie process in small batches. They take their time, so that the flavors are optimally absorbed. The goal is always to tell the story of the grape, so that each of their products is unique and promises a distinctive experience.
