Opihr is a British gin inspired by the ancient spice routes from the Middle East and Asia, which is directly reflected in its characterful flavor profile. The gin is distilled in England, where traditional London Dry Gin techniques are combined with a selection of exotic botanicals such as cubeb pepper from Indonesia, black pepper from India, and coriander from Morocco. Opihr is produced at the centuries-old distillery of G&J Distillers, one of the oldest gin makers in the United Kingdom with a history dating back to the eighteenth century. The brand, launched in 2013, mainly targets enthusiasts who prefer their gin spicy and aromatic; the pronounced influences of spices give Opihr a bold, warm style without being heavy.
