Château Vray Croix de Gay 2021 is a red Pomerol from Bordeaux shaped by the character of the vintage: fresh, precise and aromatic rather than broad or heavy. It is made from 80% merlot and 20% cabernet franc, from organically grown grapes; the vineyard has been organically certified since the 2018 vintage.
The estate is small, with around 3.67 hectares in the heart of Pomerol, divided into parcels and micro-parcels on clay and gravel soils on the plateau. The vines average around 45 years of age, adding to the sense that this is a wine built on detail and origin rather than simple richness.

Chateau Vray Croix De Gay 2021 Demi is Pomerol in a 37.5 cl half-bottle. The word Demi refers to the bottle size rather than to a separate cuvée, so this is the same Château Vray Croix de Gay 2021 in a smaller format.

The grapes are described as organically grown, and maturation took place in barriques, with a portion of new oak alongside barrels that had already held wine.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a Pomerol for those moments when freshness and aromatic detail matter more than sheer weight. The available tasting notes point to a 2021 with lively acidity, fine tannins and a (…)Chateau Vray Croix De Gay 2021 Magnum (1,5l) Incl. Box

The estate is small, covering 3.67 hectares on the Pomerol plateau, divided into parcels and micro-parcels. The vines average around 45 years of age and grow on clay and gravel soils. Certified organic since 2018, Château Vray Croix de Gay matured the 2021 vintage in barriques, using 35% new oak alongside barrels of one and two previous wines.
