Chateau Grand Puy Lacoste 2021 Demi (37,5cl)
In stock
Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste 2021 Demi gives you the estate's grand vin in a 37.5 cl half bottle. It is a practical format when you want to open a serious Pauillac at the table without committing to a full bottle.
This is the first wine of Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste, a 5th Grand Cru Classé from the 1855 classification. The 2021 vintage is clearly Cabernet-led, made from 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Merlot. The estate's vineyards sit on deep, coarse gravel soils around the château, a setting that fits the firm, precise character associated with Pauillac.
The grapes were harvested entirely by hand and underwent a double selection. After a long maceration, the wine matured for 16 to 18 months in fine-grained French oak barrels, with a (…)Chateau Grand Puy Lacoste 2021 Magnum (1,5l)

Chateau Grand Puy Lacoste 2021 Magnum (1,5l)
On request only
Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste 2021 Magnum is a firmly rooted Pauillac with a classic Bordeaux profile. It is the grand vin of the estate, from AOP Pauillac in the Médoc, and the château is classified as a 5th Grand Cru Classé in the 1855 classification. In magnum, the 2021 vintage feels especially appropriate for a wine built around structure, freshness and measured depth.
The year itself is described by the producer as cooler and more classical, with a return to a more moderate alcohol level and a different balance between acidity and alcohol than the three previous vintages. The blend is led by Cabernet Sauvignon at 85%, with Merlot making up the remaining 15%. That Cabernet-driven identity sits naturally with Pauillac's deep gravel and pebble (…)Chateau Grand Puy Lacoste 2022

Chateau Grand Puy Lacoste 2022
In stock
Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste 2022 is the grand vin of the Pauillac estate on Bordeaux's left bank. The blend is led firmly by Cabernet Sauvignon, with 79% Cabernet Sauvignon and 21% Merlot. This is not Lacoste-Borie, the château's second wine, but the main wine through which Grand-Puy-Lacoste presents its Pauillac character.
The 2022 vintage stands out for its very early harvest, the earliest in the estate's history. Grapes were picked entirely by hand between 7 and 23 September, then passed through two selections before and after destemming. Vinification included a long maceration of around three weeks, followed by ageing in French oak barrels, 75% of them new.
The estate's vines for this wine average 38 years of age and grow on deep, coarse gravel (…)Chateau Grand Puy Lacoste 2022 Demi (37,5cl)

Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste 2022 Demi is the half-bottle version of the estate's grand vin. The format is smaller, but the wine is the same cuvée as the regular bottle: a red Pauillac from a Cinquième Grand Cru Classé of the 1855 classification.
The 2022 blend is led by Cabernet Sauvignon, with 79% Cabernet Sauvignon and 21% Merlot. That Cabernet focus is closely tied to the estate's position on the gravelly croupes of Grand-Puy, west of the village of Pauillac. The grapes were hand-harvested during what is described as a historically early harvest for the château, followed by a double selection and a long cuvaison of around three weeks.
Maturation took place in fine-grained French oak barriques, 75% of them new. It gives the (…)Lacoste Borie 2019

Lacoste Borie 2019
In stock
Lacoste-Borie 2019 is the second wine of Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste in Pauillac. It carries the identity of the estate, but in a form described by the producer as more approachable at a younger age than the grand vin. It is still very much a dry red Bordeaux from Pauillac, led by Cabernet Sauvignon and shaped by its Médoc origin.
The 2019 blend is 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot and 9% Cabernet Franc. That balance matters: Cabernet gives the wine its frame and Pauillac definition, while the relatively generous Merlot share helps make this second wine more open in its youth. The grapes come from the estate of Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste, with vineyards planted on very deep coarse gravel soils.
There is plenty of care behind the bottle: hand (…)Lacoste Borie 2019 Magnum (1,5l)

Lacoste Borie 2019 Magnum is a red Pauillac from Bordeaux, made by Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste. It is the estate's second wine, from a château classified as a Cinquième Grand Cru Classé, and the level of care is very much part of its appeal: hand harvesting, double selection, a long maceration of around three weeks and maturation in French oak barriques.
The 2019 blend is 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot and 9% Cabernet Franc. Cabernet sets the tone, while Merlot brings a rounder side to the structure. The grapes come from the château's own vineyard, planted on very deep, coarse gravel soils, with an average vine age of 38 years. That gives this wine a clear Pauillac identity without turning it into a purely formal or austere bottle.

Lacoste Borie 2021 is the second wine of Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste, from Pauillac in the Médoc. It is made on the same estate as the grand vin and clearly sits within a Cabernet-led Bordeaux tradition, with 56% Cabernet Sauvignon supported by 36% Merlot and 8% Cabernet Franc.
The fruit comes from the château's own vineyards, where very deep gravel soils form an important part of the Pauillac identity. For the 2021 vintage, harvesting was carried out by hand between 24 September and 8 October, followed by two rounds of grape selection. Fermentation included a maceration of around three weeks, before ageing for 14 to 16 months in French oak barrels.
The appeal of Lacoste Borie 2021 lies in the way it reflects Grand-Puy-Lacoste in a more (…)Lacoste Borie 2021 Magnum (1,5l)

Lacoste Borie 2021 Magnum is a red Pauillac from Bordeaux, made by Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste. It is the estate's second wine, offering a more approachable expression than the grand vin while still staying close to the firm, Cabernet-led character associated with Pauillac.
The 2021 blend is led by Cabernet Sauvignon, supported by Merlot and Cabernet Franc. That gives the wine structure and definition, with added roundness and aromatic detail from the supporting varieties. The grapes come from the estate vineyards around Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste, where deep gravel soils are an important part of the wine's identity.
The 2021 growing season brought cool and humid periods, though the vineyard benefited from its position near the Gironde estuary. (…)
