Bibi Graetz Colore 2019
On request only
Bibi Graetz Colore 2019 is an Italian red wine with a name that immediately feels specific rather than generic. The producer, the Colore label and the 2019 vintage give the bottle a clear identity, making it stand apart from a broad category description.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we would present this as a wine for customers looking for a clearly defined Italian red: vintage 2019, 14% alcohol, and currently listed among the last bottles. That final detail matters, because it places this bottle within a limited moment in the assortment rather than as an open-ended stock item.
No detailed tasting notes have been provided for Bibi Graetz Colore 2019. For that reason, no unsupported aromas, flavours or finish characteristics are added here.Bibi Graetz Colore 2019 Magnum (1,5l)

Bibi Graetz Colore 2019 Magnum is a red wine from Tuscany, presented in the generous 1.5 litre format. The 2019 release carries extra significance, as it marks Bibi Graetz's twentieth anniversary as a winemaker and was issued with a special bottle presentation.
For this vintage, Colore was made entirely from Sangiovese, sourced from Lamole, Vincigliata and Siena. The fruit came from very old, high-altitude vineyards on poor, sandy and stony soils. That background matters here, because Colore is built around a careful selection from the estate's oldest Sangiovese sites rather than a broad interpretation of Tuscan red wine.
The selection continued in the cellar. The vineyards were picked separately up to eight times, followed by a second selection before (…)Bibi Graetz Colore 2020

Bibi Graetz Colore 2020
On request only
Bibi Graetz Colore 2020 is a dry red wine from Tuscany, made entirely from Sangiovese. Within Bibi Graetz's range, Colore is positioned as a strict top selection, with only a small number of the best barrels chosen for the final wine. The fruit for this vintage comes from old Sangiovese vineyards on poor sandy and stony soils, including Lamole, Vincigliata, Siena and Olmo.
What makes the wine especially compelling is the level of selection behind it. The vineyards were harvested in several passes to pick the grapes at the right moment, followed by a second selection in the cellar. Each parcel was vinified separately, with spontaneous fermentation in open barriques using native yeasts. After fermentation, the individual lots matured for almost twenty months in used barriques (…)Bibi Graetz Colore 2020 Magnum (1,5l)

Bibi Graetz Colore 2020 Magnum (1,5l)

Bibi Graetz Colore 2020 Magnum is an Italian red wine in a bottle size that immediately gives it presence. A 1.5-litre magnum naturally feels more generous than a standard bottle, making it well suited to a table where the wine is meant to be shared and noticed.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, the appeal here lies in the combination of the 2020 vintage, the magnum format and the fact that only the last bottles remain. It is a bottle chosen with intention: not just an Italian red wine from Bibi Graetz, but one with a sense of occasion built into its presentation.
With an alcohol strength of 13.5%, the available details are clear and restrained: a red wine from Italy, carrying the Colore name, presented in magnum. For anyone looking for an Italian red with a more (…)Bibi Graetz Colore 2021 Dubbele Magnum (3l)

Bibi Graetz Colore 2021 is the estate's top selection, built entirely around Sangiovese and presented here in a striking 3-litre double magnum. The large bottle is a format choice rather than a different cuvée, but it does give the wine a real sense of occasion.
The fruit comes from old Sangiovese vineyards in Lamole, Vincigliata, Olmo and Siena. Poor soils of sand, stone, galestro and clay, together with relatively high, windy sites, form the background to a 2021 vintage described by the producer as concentrated, fresh and ripe.
Colore is shaped by selection at every stage. The grapes were hand-harvested parcel by parcel, then selected again in the cellar before destemming. Fermentation took place with native yeasts, followed by around 18 months of (…)Bibi Graetz Colore Bianco 2021

Bibi Graetz Colore Bianco 2021
On request only
Bibi Graetz Colore Bianco 2021 is a distinctive white wine from Tuscany, released as Toscana Bianco IGT and made on Isola del Giglio. It is the white expression within the Colore line, produced from 100% Ansonica, a variety also known locally as Inzolia.
Its island origin is central to the wine. The grapes come from the Pietrabona vineyard, a terraced site in the south-eastern part of Giglio, close to the sea. Old vines, rocky and sandy soils shaped by granite, sea wind, sunshine and salt all contribute to the setting in which the Ansonica ripens. The vines are trained low to the ground in a local adapted alberello form to help protect them from the wind.
The 2021 growing season was warmer than usual, with winter rain providing reserves for the dry summer and (…)Bibi Graetz Testamatta 2019

Bibi Graetz Testamatta 2019 is a Tuscan red built around the clarity of Sangiovese. Released as Toscana IGT Rosso, it is the twentieth vintage of Testamatta and is made entirely from Sangiovese grown in five estate vineyards: Vincigliata, Londa, Lamole, Montefili and Siena.
The strength of this wine lies in the way it brings together several parts of Tuscany. The grapes come from old vines, up to around 80 years of age, rooted in stony hillside soils at varying altitudes. Lamole and Montefili sit in the heart of Chianti Classico, while the other vineyards add fruit from near Florence, Londa and Siena. The aim is not heaviness, but purity, minerality and a transparent expression of the grape.
The 2019 growing season was stable, with enough warmth and rain, (…)Bibi Graetz Testamatta 2019 Magnum (1,5l)

Bibi Graetz Testamatta 2019 Magnum is a Tuscan red built entirely on Sangiovese. For Bibi Graetz, 2019 is also a landmark vintage: the twentieth release of Testamatta since its first vintage in 2000. The producer positions it as a Super Tuscan, yet the message here is very focused. No international blend takes the spotlight away from Sangiovese.
The fruit comes from five old vineyards across Tuscany: Vincigliata, Londa, Lamole, Montefili and Siena. Some vines are around 80 years old, growing on hillside sites with stony soils. That origin matters in the glass. Testamatta 2019 is not simply about ripe fruit; it also carries the tension, clarity and mineral impression that the producer links to these vineyard sites.
The winemaking follows the same detailed (…)Bibi Graetz Testamatta 2020

Bibi Graetz Testamatta 2020 in double magnum is a dry red wine from Tuscany, classified as IGT Toscana Rosso and bottled here in a 3-litre format, equal to four standard bottles. It is a generous size for a wine with real table presence, especially one built on the freshness, tannin and aromatic clarity of Sangiovese.
Testamatta is described by the producer as a Super Tuscan made from old Sangiovese vines. For the 2020 vintage, the fruit came from six estate vineyards: Vincigliata, Olmo, Londa, Lamole, Montefili and Siena. Each parcel was handled separately, with hand harvesting, selection in both vineyard and cellar, native-yeast fermentation and 20 months of maturation in used barriques and 50 hl casks.

Bibi Graetz Testamatta 2022 is a red Toscana IGT Rosso built entirely around Sangiovese. For a Supertuscan, that gives the wine a very clear identity: the focus is on Tuscan fruit, freshness and structure rather than on international grape varieties.
The wine is drawn from six selected estate vineyards: Vincigliata, Olmo, Londa, Lamole, Montefili and Siena. For the 2022 vintage, Bibi Graetz highlights higher, well-ventilated sites that help express the red fruit, acidity and lift of Sangiovese. Although the year brought summer heat peaks, the producer points to altitude and wind as key factors in achieving slower, balanced ripening.
The cellar work follows that same detailed approach. Grapes are hand-harvested, selected in the vineyard and again in the (…)Bibi Graetz Testamatta Bianco 2021

Bibi Graetz Testamatta Bianco 2021 is the white expression within the Testamatta line: a dry Tuscan white wine under Toscana Bianco IGT, made entirely from Ansonica. For this vintage, the fruit comes from the Serrone vineyard on Isola del Giglio, just off the Tuscan coast.
Serrone is set on sea-facing terraces in the south-east of the island, around 60 to 150 metres above sea level. Poor rocky granite soils, maritime winds and old Ansonica vines, described in the 2021 technical notes as up to around 100 years old, all feed into the wine's saline, mineral personality. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we value this bottle for that clear island signature: it is Tuscan, but with the sea very close by.
The grapes are harvested by hand and brought to the cellar in small (…)Bibi Graetz Testamatta Bianco 2022

Bibi Graetz Testamatta Bianco 2022 is a dry Italian white wine with a very specific sense of place. Rather than coming from the more familiar inland side of Tuscany, it is rooted on the island of Giglio, off the Tuscan coast, and made entirely from Ansonica, a local white grape historically grown there.
The grapes come from four high, terraced vineyards: Serrone, Radice, Scopeto and Olivello. Granite soils, mostly northern exposure, sunshine and sea breezes all play their part. That setting helps explain the wine's mix of Mediterranean ripeness, freshness, saline detail and aromatic lift.
In the cellar, Bibi Graetz combines stainless steel with barriques. A major part ferments and matures on the lees in barriques with bâtonnage, while the remainder (…)Bibi Graetz Testamatta White 2023

Bibi Graetz Testamatta White 2023

Bibi Graetz Testamatta White 2023 is a Tuscan white wine with a very distinctive sense of place. It comes from Isola del Giglio and is made entirely from Ansonica grown in high, terraced vineyards on granite rock and granite sand. That island origin matters: the wine is shaped by ripe fruit, but also by salinity, freshness and a clear mineral edge.
The grapes are hand-harvested and brought to the cellar in Giglio Castello. Fermentation starts at low temperature in stainless steel, before a large part of the wine continues in barriques and matures on the lees with bâtonnage. That combination helps explain the style: precise and lively, yet with enough texture and structure to feel serious at the table.
The producer describes 2023 as a cooler, milder (…)
