    Chateau Cos Labory 2022 is a red Bordeaux from Saint-Estèphe in the Médoc, made as the estate's Grand Vin. Its status as a Cinquième Grand Cru Classé from the 1855 classification gives it historical weight, but the more immediate interest lies in its origin: the core vineyard parcels sit on the Cos hill, with deep gravel, clay and a limestone-rich subsoil.

    The 2022 blend is led by Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, supported by Petit Verdot and a small share of Cabernet Franc. The grapes were hand-harvested and selected, then fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Ageing took place in French oak barriques, 50% of them new.
