Beau Marais Cheval Noir 2022 is a Belgian red wine from Wijndomein Beau Marais in Koersel, Limburg. It shows the more powerful side of Belgian red wine: dark in colour, full in body, yet still marked by the freshness of a cool-climate origin.
The blend is built around Cabernet Cortis, Cantor and Pinot Noir. That combination says a great deal about the intention behind Cheval Noir: to create a fuller red wine under Belgian conditions, with cabernet-like depth and structure, while the Pinot Noir component brings refinement to the finish. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, followed by 15 months in old French barriques, giving the wine structure and aromatic development without any stated use of new oak.

Le Sanglier de Beau Marais 2022 is a Belgian red wine from Limburg, made from Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Monokini Beau Marais 2023 is a Belgian white natural wine from Beringen in West Limburg. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see it as a wine for people who enjoy a very direct style: no oak influence, no polished gloss, just freshness, tension and pure fruit in a still white blend.
Chardonnay forms the main part of the wine, with smaller amounts of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Beau Marais works in a cool-climate setting around Beringen, including vineyards in Beverlo and Koersel, where ripeness is paired with retained acidity.
