Cap D'Or 2022 is a red wine from Saint-Georges Saint-Emilion on Bordeaux's Right Bank. It is positioned as the second wine of Château Cap Saint George and comes from the same terroir north of Saint-Emilion. The wine is built around merlot, with cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc adding further structure and detail.
For the 2022 vintage, the blend is 84% merlot, 8% cabernet sauvignon and 8% cabernet franc. The vineyard context is clay-limestone soil with south and south-west facing exposures. This red Bordeaux from France is linked to Château Cap Saint George and is described as the estate's second wine.
